International Women's Day - A Message From Our Founder

As a female entrepreneur, I am constantly surrounded by inspiring and powerful women, both in my personal and professional life. International Women’s Day is a chance to celebrate and recognise all of the amazing women who have and continue to make a difference in the world. It is also a reminder of how far women have come in the past few decades in terms of our economic and social empowerment. We have made tremendous progress on gender equality, but there is still work to be done: today we have the opportunity to celebrate the progress we have made and to recognise the women who are still fighting for equal rights and recognition. 

Wǒ is all about empowering women - Our products are designed to help women feel confident and beautiful in their own skin. Today is a day for us to reaffirm our commitment to supporting and uplifting women, we believe that every woman deserves to feel beautiful, and we are proud to be a part of that effort. 

International Women's Day is also a chance for me to reflect on my own journey as a female entrepreneur. It can be incredibly challenging to build a business from the ground up, especially as a woman, and I’m taking today to remind myself that I’m capable of achieving anything I set my mind to and to put my feet up (even if just for 30 minutes!) and take time to look back and feel proud of the brand we as a team of women have created. 

In honour of International Women’s Day, I am committing to using my business as a platform to spread awareness and support of women’s rights and causes. I am passionate about helping women reach their full potential to create a better future for generations to come. I am proud to stand in solidarity with all of the inspiring women who have and continue to make a difference in the world.
